Chinese tech giant unicorn ByteDance Ltd. is anticipating a loss of over USD 6 billion after three of its apps, including the hugely popular video app TikTok, were banned by India this week, a media report here said. Besides Tiktok, India banned on Monday 58 other apps with Chinese links, including the popular UC Browser, for engaging in activities “prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order".

भारत की मोदी सरकार द्वारा चीन की 59 ऐप्स को भारत में बैन कर दिया है। जिससे चीन को बड़ा आर्थिक झटका लगा है. इस नुकसान से जुड़ी जानकारी सामने आई है। भारत सरकार द्वारा बैन की गई 59 ऐप्स में एक मुख्य ऐप TikTok भी शामिल है। जिसके पूरे भारत में करोड़ो यूजर्स थे। चीन के काईशिन ग्लोबल डॉट कॉम ने बाइटडांस के एक वरिष्ठ प्रबंधकीय अधिकारी के हवाले से खबर दी है कि, चीन को मात्र TikTok के बैन होने से ही करीब 6 अरब डॉलर का नुकसान उठाना पड़ सकता है।
