Pakistan’s Babar Azam has been one of the hottest properties in world cricket over the past couple of years. A promising talent, Azam has developed into his team’s premier batsman across all formats. He is in fact the only batsman in the world currently who ranks in the top five of the ICC men’s rankings across all formats, leading the rankings in T20Is. While he has performed in different conditions too, his consistency in one-day internationals has led to comparisons with the best batsman in the format, Indian captain Virat Kohli.

पिछले दिनों बाबर आजम ने एक बड़ा बयान दिया था. बाबर आजम ने रिपोर्टर्स को कहा था कि उसकी तुलना विराट कोहली से नहीं किया जाए. कोहली के बराबर के वो फिलहाल हुए नहीं हैं. और अगर उनकी तुलना करना ही है, तो पाकिस्तान के महान बल्लेबाजों से बाबर आजम की तुलना की जाए. अब इस पर बखेरा हुआ है. यही बात पाकिस्तान के पूर्व खिलाड़ी राशिद लतीफ को लग गयी है. और उन्होंने अपने यूट्यूब चैनल पर बाबर आजम के इस बयान पर अपनी टिपण्णी दी है. पाकिस्तान के दिग्गजों का कहना है कि बाबर अभी इस लायक नहीं हुए हैं कि उनकी तुलना इन महान खिलाड़ियों से की जाए. राशिद लतीफ ने ने कहा कि किसी भी खिलाड़ी की तुलना उसके मौजूदा समय के खिलाड़ियों से ही होती है.
