Bollywood veteran choreographer Saroj Khan is no longer with us. He died in Mumbai on Thursday night due to a heart attack. She was 71 years old and was ill for the last few days. In Saroj's family, her husband B.V. Sohanlal, son Hamid Khan, has two daughters Hina and Sukanya. In his career spanning over 40 years, he choreographed over two thousand songs and hundreds of stars. Several actresses including Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Meenakshi Seshadri, Aishwarya Rai were seen to be shuddering under their direction and big credit for the success of these stars also goes to Saroj Khan. Bollywood stars used to fondly call him Mastrji.

बॉलीवुड की दिग्गज कोरियोग्राफर सरोज खान अब हमारे बीच नहीं हैं। गुरुवार की रात दिल का दौरा पड़ने से मुंबई में उनका निधन हो गया। वे 71 साल की थीं और पिछले कुछ दिनों से बीमार चल रही थीं। सरोज के परिवार में उनके पति बी. सोहनलाल, बेटा हामिद खान, दो बेटियां हिना और सुकन्या हैं। 40 साल से ज्यादा समय के अपने करियर में उन्होंने दो हजार से ज्यादा गानों और सैकड़ों स्टार्स को कोरियोग्राफ किया। श्रीदेवी, माधुरी दीक्षित, मीनाक्षी शेषाद्री, ऐश्वर्या राय समेत कई एक्ट्रेसेस उनके निर्देशन में थिरकती नजर आईं और इन स्टार्स की सफलता का बड़ा क्रेडिट सरोज खान को भी जाता है। बॉलीवुड स्टार्स उन्हें प्यार से मास्टरजी कहकर बुलाते थे।
