Kevin Garnett didn't cut ties with the Celtics after he was traded to the Brooklyn Nets; in fact, quite the opposite. In an interview with ESPN's Ros Gold-Onwude, Jaylen Brown shared how KG still sends inspiring and strongly-worded messages to the players and team today. Brown recalled one moment from his rookie year when Garnett sent a voice message to the strength coach telling JB to "pick his mother------- head up" on the bench.


Brown also shared that Garnett sent an incredibly powerful message to the C's after the death of Isaiah Thomas' sister that inspired the team to win four straight games and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
