Roque ‘hopeful’ House will consider plight of ABS-CBN workers

With its hands tied over franchise issues, Malacañang is hopeful that Congress will consider the plight of thousands of ABS-CBN workers who may lose their jobs over the expired franchise of the network.

Presidential spokesman Harry Roque said it is truly sad if more workers will become jobless during the coronavirus pandemic but the Palace cannot interfere with the work of lawmakers.
