Umno backs Muhyiddin as PM in GE15, says Annuar Musa

Umno will name Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as the prime minister in the next general election, party secretary-general Tan Sri Annuar Musa said on Thursday (July 2).

Speaking to the press after handing over temporary permits to petty traders at Taman Setapak Indah, he said Umno shared the same stand as PAS in their support for Muhyiddin as prime minister following a meeting between them two weeks ago.
