Orcas Slap Stingray with Tail

Rare footage of Orcas filmed in Baja California, Mexico shows them knocking out stingrays with their tail. The whales are known to play with their prey before eating it.

Stingrays are a diet staple for some orca populations, but they can also be dangerous. Their spines, or barbs, can easily injure a young whale that doesn’t have experience taking a ray down. They produce venom, which can be fatal to humans
