Foaming river in Jakarta becomes unlikely attraction
  • 4 years ago
A river that runs through the area of East Jakarta in Indonesia's capital has become an unlikely tourist attraction as it produces a thick layer of foam.

Drone footage from July 1 shows the foamy river under artificial light from an above bridge.

Visitors are also seen on the bridge and the riverbank, despite it being nighttime.

The dugout discharges wastewater from the city's eastern suburbs.
