Mike Henry Stepping Away From "Family Guy"

Mike Henry, the actor who voices the character Cleveland on "Family Guy" has stepped down.
Henry's resignation is the latest in a slew of white actors stepping away from roles in which they voice animated characters of color.
According to CNN, Henry made the announcement Friday evening via his Twitter account.
He wrote, "I love this character, but persons of color should play characters of color".
Henry has voiced the much-beloved character for 20 years.
"Family Guy" has other nonwhite characters voiced by White actors, including Tricia Takanawa, voiced by Alex Borstein.
