Novotel Darling Square. Sydney Australia

Hope you enjoy my hotel review of the Novotel Darling Square Sydney, Australia.
A fantastic hotel to explore Sydney from. On your doorstep is Darling Square packed full of restaurants and bars and from Darling Harbour you can explore the rest of Sydney. In the best way possible by harbour ferry.

Right in the heart of Darling Square with it's own micro brewery attached. What is not to like !
Actually the micro brewery is no longer brewing but that doesn't stop it serving a host of beers.
I stopped by for a beer and was going to eat but it is a very popular place and there were no tables left outside so I passed on the food.
The hotel itself is a modern Novotel offering, with everything you would expect and a little more.
The buffet breakfast was first class with the offerings you would expect from a quality 4 Star International Hotel ( Do check out my You Tube Channel, Link in my Bio/Profile on here and you can see for yourself as I have a full video review of the hotel, covering the food, location and of course the room. )
However there is also a Barista on hand at dawn, if your coffee requirements are not met by Nespresso !
These Australians certainly take their coffee seriously.
Service throughout the hotel was excellent, friendly , prompt and efficient. I must say a big thank you to the guys on reception who arranged an early check in for me.
It was certainly appreciated by a weary traveller who had just stepped off the overnight from Singapore.
It was such a joy to have a bed ready for me and as expected an immaculate bed from Novotel ( As you can see in my You Tube Video )
I am a big fan of Accor Hotels and my budget sees me in Novotel more than the other brands and the room was what I expected.
Large shower / wet room with rainfall and attached shower.
Decent work area with power sockets and USB ports
Iron and Ironing board in the room ( as much as I love the idea of hotel laundry service. I cant afford and don't normally have the time )
Fluffy robes, slippers and towels all immaculate.
A mini bar that is not going to break the bank, if the temptation gets the better of me.
Although no view of the harbour ( you want the Sofitel, Ibis or the other Novotel for that )
I had a great view of The Chinese Garden of Friendship which as views go it was very pleasant.
The location is as good as described on the website, right in Darling Square and 5 minutes walk from Darling Harbour. Where there is always something going on.
I found the Royal Australian Navy performing their Sunset Ceremonial a real treat ( video on my You Tube. )

All in all a very good hotel. Modern every facility you want, including a gym and pool )
But most importantly wonderful staff who made my short stay a really treat.
