I do like a good 5 Star Boutique Hotel and The Galata Hotel certainly hits the mark.
You can feel the quality and sophistication the minute you walk in the door. However unlike some smart boutique hotels. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Which is great as the Galata Tower is in a great location for exploring Istanbul. The name gives it away that it is on the doorstep of the Galata Tower, however it is only a short stroll to the Bosphorous and the famed markets.
