WHO urges EU to be a leader in defining post-COVID 'new normal'

WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, calls on the EU to be a leader "in defining the new normal as part of the global recovery" and to "build back better and build back greener" as he adresses the European Parliament on the subject of COVID-19 via video call. He also insists on the fact that WHO is working on preparedness so "the world never again finds itself unprepared".
