With New Delhi's hospitals under pressure due to rising cases of patients infected with the coronavirus, the Delhi government is converting a spiritual centre into a coronavirus isolation facility with over 10,000 beds spread over a sprawling area.

Among the thousands of beds, some are made from cardboard, which the government says is easier to dispose of and more environmentally friendly.
