  • il y a 4 ans
With the greeting of the first rays of the sun on the morning of the winter solstice, Aymara herders on the Bolivian Altiplano sacrifice two llamas to Mother Earth (Pacha Mama) and to Inti the Sun God. The llamas are their most valuable animals which provide wool, meat, labour and more to their families.
