Stock prices of listed companies in Gaeseong Industrial Complex have dropped sharply

It should come as no surprise to learn that South Korean companies operating at the inter-Korean Gaeseong Industrial Complex have been suffering ever since the abrupt shutdown of the site due to tensions between the two Koreas in 2016 and new data proves just that.
According to South Korean enterprises at the Gaeseong Industrial Complex in North Korea and the Data Analysis Retrieval and Transfer System on Monday the stock price and business performance of the 11 listed companies, of the 12 have dropped by as much as 80-percent.
The assets of some 120 companies, including the listed firms, at the complex are worth some 740 million dollars.
