This is the heart-stopping moment a cyclist was inches from being knocked over when he rode out in front of an oncoming truck.

The man emerged from a side road on the national highway in Binh Phuoc in Ho chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Dash cam footage shows how he ambled over to the right hand lane forcing the lorry the lorry driver to slam on the brakes to avoid a collision.

The cyclist then rode away in a care-free manner back to the roadside.

The driver, Nguyen Tat Cong, is heard in the video shouted angrily at the cyclist.

Speaking after, he said: "The man on the bike is so reckless he was not even scared to get hit. He carried on like nothing had happened.''
