In order to prevent COVID-19 infection, SN Farid, a restaurant owner from Guwahati redesigned robots to serve food and medicines to COVID patients. The robots also help patients to facilitate virtual meetings with doctors. Farid is using robots since 1.5 years to serve drinks to customers. At the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, he redesigned all the robots to assist health care professionals. While speaking to ANI, the restaurant owner said, “We're using robots since 1.5 yrs to serve drinks to customers. I redesigned them to assist health care professionals.” Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam stands at 4777.
