Celtics News: Enes Kanter's Dad Released From Custody in Turkey After 7 Years

Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter took to Twitter on Friday morning to share that his father has been released from custody in Turkey after his "wrongful" arrest seven years ago. Since 2017, Enes has said that his father has been targeted because of his public criticism of the Turkish government and president.

Enes wrote, "He is just one person, there are still tens of thousands of people wrongfully in jail in Turkey. I will not forget you, we will not forget you!"
