Cheteshwar Pujara says facing pink ball in day night test is tough challenge | वनइंडिया हिंदी

Cheteshwar Pujara on Thursday admitted that playing day-night Tests is an altogether different challenge for the batsman as the pace and visibility of the pink ball is very different from traditional red ball. "First of all, to speak about the day and night Test or (to play) with the pink ball, I think it is different from what we are used to with the red ball," Pujara said on the Sony Ten Pit Stop show. Pujara, who has played 77 Tests, said that for any younger player, who is used to playing with the SG red ball, playing with the pink ball, would be a challenge.

साल के अंत में भारतीय टीम को ऑस्ट्रेलिया दौरे पर जाना है. चार मैचों की टेस्ट सीरीज खेलनी है. इस दौरान एडिलेड में एक टेस्ट मैच खेला जाएगा. जो डे नाइट टेस्ट मैच होगा. भारत ने अपना पहला डे-नाइट टेस्ट मैच पिछले साल बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ कोलकाता के ईडन गार्डन्स में खेला था. डे-नाइट टेस्ट मैच से काफी चीजे बदल जाती हैं और भारत के टेस्ट स्पेशलिस्ट चेतेश्वर पुजारा का मानना है कि यह चुनौती आसान नहीं होने वाली है. पुजारा ने माना है कि डे-नाइट का टेस्ट बल्लेबाजों के लिये अलग तरह की चुनौती होगा क्योंकि गुलाबी गेंद की रफ्तार और पारंपरिक लाल गेंद से काफी अलग होती है.
