South Korea's top duty-free operators, Lotte Duty Free and Shilla Duty Free, will sell their duty-free products on local store shelves from next week.
Lotte Duty Free will sell its items at its local department stores and discount malls in line with a government-led sales campaign that starts on June 26th.
Shilla Duty Free will start selling its goods via its online sales platform 'Shilla trip' from the middle of next week.
They will be selling products at 30 to 50 percent discounts compared to the usual non-duty-free price.
This comes as the government decided in late April to temporarily permit the sale of duty-free stock domestically to help the duty-free sector which has been hammered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
