Home security camera footage shows Eliah, a 10-year-old African American boy, stepping behind a car outside his home in Trumbull, Connecticut, as he spots a police car driving by, before resuming playing basketball in the driveway. Eliah's father, Stacey Pierre-Louis, shared the footage on his Instagram account on June 11, 2020, saying in the video caption that when he asked his son why he did hide from police, the young boy told him: "because they killed George Floyd."
