India has won a resounding victory as a provisional member of the UN Security Council .... India has once again got an 8th place in the United Nations. A total of 192 countries voted for this, out of which 184 countries voted in favor of India and India was elected as a provisional member of the UNSC unopposed. After India's success, TS Trimurti, India's Permanent Representative to the UN, said that I am very happy that the members of the UN have elected India as a temporary member of the Security Council for the year 2021-22 with a tremendous majority. I thank all the UN member states that they supported India.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद में अस्थायी-सदस्य के रुप में भारत ने शानदार जीत हासिल की है....संयुक्त राष्ट्र में भारत को एक बार फिर से 8वीं बार जगह मिली है। इसके लिए कुल 192 देशों ने वोट किया, जिसमे से भारत के समर्थन में 184 देशों ने वोट किया और भारत को निर्विरोध यूएनएससी के अस्थायी सदस्य के रूप में चुना गया। भारत की इस कामयाबी के बाद यूएन में भारत के स्थायी प्रतिनिधि टीएस त्रिमूर्ति ने कहा कि यूएन के सदस्यों ने जबरदस्त बहुमत के साथ भारत को सुरक्षा परिषद के अस्थायी सदस्य के तौर पर वर्ष 2021-22 के लिए चुना है, इससे मैं बहुत खुश हूं। मैं यूएन के सभी सदस्य देशों का शुक्रिया अदा करता हूं कि उन्होंने भारत का समर्थन किया।
