No one was expecting this but controversial former Indian pacer is back in Ranji fold. After a seven-year ban the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) has decided to include controversial speedster S Sreesanth (37) in the state Ranji cricket team. Sreesanth’s ban ends in September this year. On May 2013 Delhi police had arrested Sreesanth and two of his Rajasthan Royals team mates, Ajit Chandilia and Ankit Chavan, on charges of spot- fixing. The Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) had imposed a life ban on him. Later he fought a long battle. In 2015 a special court in Delhi had acquitted him of all charges.

आखरिकार श्रीसंत की क्रिकेट में वापसी हो गयी है. श्रीसंत को केरला की रणजी टीम में शामिल कर लिया गया है. अब अगर उन्होंने अपनी फिटनेस साबित कर दिया तो रणजी के आगामी सीजन में वो खेलते हुए नजर आएँगे. ये किसी भी खिलाड़ी के लिए नया जीवन जैसा है. श्रीसंत अब अपनी दूसरी पारी में बहुत कुछ करना चाहते हैं. फिर से वो टीम इंडिया की नीली जर्सी पहनना चाहते हैं. खबरों के मुताबिक केरल क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन ने इस बात का फैसला किया है कि अगर श्रीसंत अपनी फिटनेस साबित करते हैं तो रणजी टीम के लिए चुना जा सकता है. श्रीसंत साल 2013 में आईपीएल में हुई फिक्सिंग के बाद लगे बैन के कारण सात साल से क्रिकेट के मैदान से दूर हैं.
