Over the weekend, Los Angeles County government officials visited over 2,000 restaurants.And they were dismayed to discover that roughly 1,000 of them were not in compliance with safety regulations. .The officials found large groups waiting to be seated, "packed sidewalks," and many other infractions.L. County health director Dr. Barbara Ferrer said that restaurants in violation would be revisited by officials later.As frustrating as this is, it's also not limited to the Los Angeles area.13 businesses in Nashville were cited for violations over this past weekend.The Erie County (New York) Health Department is receiving around 10 complaints every day.And it has been reported that almost half of Memphis' top 50 restaurants had staff who weren't covering their faces
