An extreme hail storm in Calgary on Saturday (June 13) left this car without a back window.

Local media reported "tennis-ball" sized hailstones piling up several inches deep and flash flooding across the city in Canada's western province of Alberta.

Candeena Langan posted the shocking clip to Twitter (@langancandeena) with the caption: "Our car window smashed. Dang!"

She told Newsflare: "The hail looked like snow. The roadway was flooded. The houses had their siding ripped off by the hail. Every car had windows smashed and covered in dents."

According to local media, Calgary has now begun cleaning up after the powerful storm caused damage and flooding.
