Young protesters in South Africa demand apartheid and colonial statues be removed

Members of the Black National Crisis Committee in Cape Town protested outside parliament waving placards and demanding colonial and apartheid statues are removed.

Footage shows the protest at the statue of Louis Botha, South Africa's first prime minister of the Union of South Africa in the 20th century.

Botha was instrumental in limiting black South Africans rights.
