What I did was a part of bharathanatyam margam which is called jathi swaram as the name implies it includes jati and swaram comes under the 'nritta' which means pure dance without the scope of abhinaya.its structure pattern is with a jathi,rhythmic syllable and swarams are musical notes sets to specific raga and tala .The term jathi swaram considered as the successor of swarapallavi which was an item performed during the nayaka rulers ...This jathi swaram is in vasantha Raga
