Devastating flash floods in Indonesia leave one person dead

Following devastating flash floods in Indonesia, emergency services and local residents have begun to clean up the mud and wreckage left by the waters.

The floods occurred in Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi Province,
on Friday (12 June), with one person reported as being drowned in the raging currents.

Footage from this morning (June 13) shows the floodwaters receding. Hundreds of residents cleaned their houses of mud left by the floods, many by hand, and tried to repair damaged property.
