Indian firefighters rescue camel from 40-metre-deep well in marathon operation

A camel that fell into a 40-metre-deep well was rescued by fire brigade officials after a seven-hour-long operation, in the western Indian state of Gujarat.

The incident took place in Bhuj town of Kutch district. The camel fell inside the well on June 11 and was rescued after an overnight operation on June 12.

Visual showed a firefighter being lowered inside the well by his team. After the official tied the harness around the camel's body, the others pull it out using a crane machine.
