A soft drink vendor sells sweet beverages in the middle of a big swarm of bees in Ang Thong, central Thailand.

Pornchai Kiewchaorn, 65, has been selling the soft drink at the same spot for over thirty years and has been nicknamed by some locals the "Bee Master."

Footage shows the vendor making drinks for his customers while a huge swarm of bees cover his pushcart.

The vendor said it was also strange even to him that the bees had never stung him or any one of his customers.

He said: "They will swarm around the syrup in my cylinder as soon as I push the cart out of my house and then go when I push it back to my house.

"I was scared at first but I never tried to hurt or chase them away and I believed that is why they never sting me or my customers.''

Pornchai added that he was also aware about how the locals have called him the "Bee Master."

He said: "I know that the locals have given me a nickname and I feel honoured.

"I think it is good for me to be remembered by residents and the name Bee Master might help with my sales.''
