Forklifts used to transport students and deliver food at flooded university in China
  • 4 years ago
Forklifts were used to transport students and deliver food for them after floodwater submerged Guangxi Normal University in southern China.

Video of the scene, filmed in the city of Guilin in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on June 8, shows students standing on a forklift being transported from one building to another through the floods.

Due to days of heavy rain, several streets in the city were flooded.

Since the floodwater was too deep for the students to go out for food, the university used the forklifts to deliver food for them.

Packed breakfasts were loaded into the forklift and delivered to students trapped in the flooded university.
