Police arrested dozens of people protesting against the killing of George Floyd in Brooklyn in New York on Friday (June 5th) night.

Footage filmed on Nostrand and Montgomery near the Crown Heights neighbourhood showed police tying protesters hands behind their backs.

One of those arrested was healthcare worker Courtney Taylor who said she was a peaceful protester who was trying to go home.

"We were told that if we remained on the sidewalks, we would be allowed to go home," she said.

"We walked on the sidewalks and what did they do? They lined up and now they're locking everybody up," she added.
