The remote Atulieer village, which sits up an 800-metre (2,624 ft) clifftop in China’s Sichuan province, could be a new tourist attraction. Also known as “Cliff Village”, it became famous for its dangerous ladders. Local officials have built a steel ladder and relocated 84 households to an urban town as part of a poverty alleviation plan which began in 2016.
