Chester Zoo, one of the largest zoos in the UK, managed to raise over £1,000,000 after it announced it could close by autumn if the government stops it from reopening to the public.

The Chief Operating Officer at Chester Zoo has announced that the zoo could close permanently if it doesn’t open again before autumn.

The zoo has been closed for almost three months due to COVID-19.
