Rescue team called to catch cobra but it turns out to be a rubber toy

This is a amusing moment a rescue team were called to catch a hissing cobra - which turned out to be just a toy.
The housekeeper Nonglak Permpool, 56, was cleaning the parking lot in Yasothon, northeastern Thailand, when the neighbour alerted her about the snake.
She looked up and saw a cobra on a crossbeam, causing her to run away in fear and call the emergency services.
Footage shows the rescuer using a metal rod to catch the serpent.
However, when the rescuer reached prodded it and the creature did not resist or respond, they realised it was just a toy rubber snake,
The embarrassed housekeeper said that she believed the owner might have placed it there to scare away pigeons.
She said: "The house owner probably put the snake there to scare away the birds and has not told me about it."
