Potatoes, kiwis and Pepsi cans are no match for this homemade cannon

Potatoes, kiwis and Pepsi cans were no match for this homemade cannon made by a scientist in Latvia.

Various objects are places at the opposite end of a table to a cannon made from a tube and a firecracker.

As the firecracker is set off it crashes into the various objects such as potatoes, lighters and cans of fizzy drinks are completely shattered.

This explosive experiment was filmed on March 15.
