Unrest spreads across the US fuelled by outrage over police killing of George Floyd

Protests have broken out in dozens of cities across the United States as demonstrators denounce police brutality and to call for an end to racial injustice following the death of an African-American man in police custody on May 27, 2020.  George Floyd died while being arrested by police in Minneapolis in the US state of Minnesota, when one officer knelt on his neck for more than eight minutes.
