भारतीय और चीनी सेनाएं पूर्वी लद्दाख के विवादित क्षेत्र में भारी उपकरण और हथियार लेकर पहुंच रही हैं. इनमें तोपें और लड़ाकू वाहन भी शामिल हैं. भारत और चीन की सेनाओं के बीच पिछले 25 दिन से तीखी झड़प जारी है. इस क्षेत्र में दोनों सेनाओं द्वारा युद्ध क्षमता में वृद्धि तब भी हो रही है जब दोनों देश सैन्य और राजनयिक स्तरों पर बातचीत के माध्यम से विवाद को हल करने के अपने प्रयासों को जारी रख रहे हैं. चीन की ओर से हो रही इस गतिविधि के बीच भारतीय सेना भी अतिरिक्त सैनिकों के साथ-साथ आर्टिलरी गन जैसे उपकरणों और हथियारों को एकत्रित कर रही है.
