Syed Saddiq: They continue their scheme of things with or without Dr M
  • 4 years ago
In a press conference on Sunday, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) Armada chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman provided a chronology of events that led to the resignation of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as Prime Minister and Bersatu chairman on Feb 24.

Dr Mahathir had previously said that he resigned because the Bersatu leadership had lost confidence in him and Bersatu had withdrawn from the then ruling Pakatan Harapan, against his will.

Syed Saddiq said Dr Mahathir was forced by Bersatu MPs on many occasions to take Bersatu out of Pakatan but he did not want to go against his principles and the mandate of the people who voted Pakatan as the government.
