At least two people working at India’s foreign affairs ministry have tested positive for Covid-19, and the government has asked several officials to self quarantine as a precaution, according to a source and internal e-mails seen by Reuters. One person who tested positive worked as a consultant in the ministry’s Central Europe division in New Delhi, while the other worked as a legal officer in the law division, the e-mails stated.

विदेश मंत्रालय में काम करने वाले कम से कम दो लोग कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमित पाए गए हैं। जिसके बाद सरकार ने बाकी अधिकारियों को सेफ्ट क्वारंटाइन होने के लिए कहा है। हिंदुस्तान टाइम्स ने ये जानकारी सूत्र और रॉयटर्स के हवाले से दी है। पॉजिटिव पाया गया एक व्यक्ति नई दिल्ली में मंत्रालय के सेंट्रल यूरोप डिवीजन में सलाहकार के रूप में काम करता है, जबकि दूसरा कानून विभाग में लीगल अफसर के रूप में काम करता है। वहीं कोरोना का कहर दिल्ली सचिवालय भी पहुंच गया है, जहां पर काम करने वाला एक कर्मचारी पॉजिटिव पाया गया है। फिलहाल सचिवालय कर्मचारी को आइसोलेट कर उसका इलाज किया जा रहा है।
