SERIOUS SAM 4 PLANET BADASS - Official Trailer (PC)

Serious Sam 4 is an upcoming first-person shooter developed by Croatian indie development studio Croteam and published by Devolver Digital. It is part of the Serious Sam series and a sequel to Serious Sam 3: BFE. The game was announced in April 2018 and is set for release in August 2020 for Microsoft Windows and Stadia.[1] The release on Google's streaming platform implies an exclusivity contract that prevents it from being released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 before 2021.[2]

At the time of announcement, the game was meant to be called Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass, but the subtitle was dropped shortly afer.[3] For this installment, the developers have developed what they call "Legion System", a feature in their Serious Engine that was initially expected to allow developers to put 10,000 enemies on screen at once, but has apparently reached "an order of magnitude above that".[3]
