China will attack Taiwan and “smash separatists” if all else fails in efforts towards reunification, a Chinese general has warned. चीन ने धमकी दी है कि अगर ताइवान एकीकरण के लिए तैयार नहीं हुआ तो उस पर हमला किया जाएगा. चीन के सेंट्रल मिलिट्री कमिशन के सदस्य और जॉइंट स्टाफ डिपार्टमेंट के प्रमुख ली झुओचेंग ने कहा है कि ताइवान को आजाद होने से रोकने का अगर कोई और रास्ता नहीं बचेगा तो चीन पर उस पर हमला करेगा. ली झुओचेंग चीन में काफी सीनियर जनरल हैं. चीन में ऊंचे पद पर रहने वाले व्यक्ति की ओर से ऐसा बयान देना काफी रेयर माना जाता है.
