Andres Rodriguez meets George Bush in Washington 1990

Washington: Paraguayan President Andres Rodriguez met with George Bush today at the White House. Rodríguez said that he trusts that the North American leader will help his country to implant democracy in this period of transition. This Paraguayan president was elected last year after overthrowing General Alfredo Stroessner in a coup, later Andrés Rodríguez traveled to Taiwan and South Korea seeking investments for his country.
