Duterte asks private schools to offer staggered tuition payment scheme

President Duterte has called on private schools to offer staggered tuition fee payment schemes to ease the financial burden of parents in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

The President made the appeal after endorsing the “blended” or flexible learning methods proposed by the Department of Education (DepEd) in lieu of face-to-face classes to protect learners and teachers from the coronavirus threat.
