American President Donald Trump on Sunday imposed new travel restrictions on Brazil, one of the countries hit hardest by the coronavirus pandemic. Foreigners will not be allowed to travel to the U.S. if they have been in Brazil any time during the 14-days prior to when they are scheduled to travel to the U.S. The travel ban does not apply to permanent U.S. residents, their spouses, legal guardians of permanent residents under the age of 21 and other groups.

अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डॉनल्ड ट्रंप ने ब्राजील से किसी तरह की यात्रा पर रोक लगा दी है. ब्राजील को कोरोना का नया हॉटस्पॉट बताते हुए ट्रंप ने रोक लगाने का एलान किया है. ब्राजील में कोरोना संक्रमित लोगों की संख्या साढ़े तीन लाख के पार पहुंच चुकी है. अब तक 22 हजार पांच सौ लोगों की जान जा चुकी है. ब्राजील में 24 अप्रैल को कोरोना के 50 हजार केस थे, 3 मई को ये संख्या 1 लाख के पार हो गई. इसके बाद 14 मई को 2 लाख के पार और फिर 21 मई को आंकड़ा तीन लाख के पार हो गया.
