Close to 500 people detained over SOP under conditional MCO

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob on Monday told reporters that 470 individuals were arrested on May 24, the first day of Hari Raya for not following the SOP under the conditional movement control order (MCO).
He said 87 individuals were remanded and 23 individuals were allowed bailed on offences.
“Abide by the SOP and rules. Cooperation and self-discipline from everyone is very important in the war against Covid-19,” he said.
