The prices of all vegetables, including tomatoes and onions, in Delhi's wholesale mandis have registered a steep decline this month. Tomatoes sold in Asia's largest wholesale market for fruits and vegetables at less than Re 1 per kg in Azadpur mandi. Market traders said that vegetable retailers are coming down in the wholesale market, so the price has gone down due to low demand

दिल्ली की थोक मंडियों में टमाटर और प्याज सहित सभी सब्जियों की कीमतों में इस महीने भारी गिरावट दर्ज की गई है।कोरोना ने किस तरह देश मे तबाही मचाई है। इसका अंदाजा आप लगातार बढ़ते कोरोना पीड़ितों से लगा सकते हैं तो वहीं अब सब्जियों पर भी कोरोना का कहर टूटने लगा है। जिसकी वजह से टमाटर अपने सबसे बुरे दौर से गुजर रहा है। फल और सब्जियों के लिए एशिया की सबसे बड़ी थोक मंडी आजादपुर मंडी में टमाटर एक रुपया प्रति किलोग्राम से कम भाव पर बिका। मंडी के व्यापारियों ने कहा कि सब्जियों के खुदरा व्यापारी थोक बाजार में कम आ रहे हैं, इसलिए मांग कम होने से कीमत इतने नीचे चली गई है
