Oprah Winfrey Is Donating $12 Million
to Cities She's Called Home Winfrey will be making the
generous donations through her
Oprah Winfrey Charitable Foundation. The foundation will be providing
grants to underserved communities
in places she's lived. Such places include Baltimore,
Chicago, Milwaukee, Nashville and Kosciusko, Mississippi,
where she was born. Winfrey's donations will help those most affected
by the coronavirus pandemic. Food will be provided
to those who need it, and the elderly and other high-risk
people will receive special care.
