Violence continues in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj; Buses, cars, shops set on fire

Violence in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj city has refused to die down. At least three shops, two private buses and a car were torched by criminals in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj city on Saturday, according to police. A young boy was also killed in clashes following stone-pelting on a motorcycle rally taken out to celebrate the Republic Day. However, Om Prakash Singh, Director General of Uttar Pradesh Police has issued a statement apprising of the current situation in Kasganj. Section 144 has been imposed in the entire precinct with adequate police personnel keeping a tight vigil on the situation.
