Islamic Academy President Mehadi has filed a complaint against Uttar Pradesh Shia Board Chief Wasim Rizvi in Devband police station.

In the complaint, Mehadi has accused Rizvi of spreading communal violence and anarchy. Apart from Islamic Academy, several other Muslim organisations have also filed complaints against Rizvi.

The UP Shia Board Chief had advocated building a Ram Temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya.
